Side and rear windows are $200 to $450 fitted, cleanup included, and the fitting is forty-five minutes to an hour. This is the job we come down to Clinton Hill for more than any other, and because nothing has to cure, the car is back in service the minute the tech packs up.

What makes a door window job go well is what happens inside the door rather than what you can see through it. Tempered glass drops into the skin and settles on the regulator, the motor, the wiring loom and the drain holes at the bottom. If those drains are blocked by cubes, water sits against the inner panel every time it rains and the trim rots from the inside out. So the first part of every one of these jobs is stripping the card off and emptying the cavity properly, before the new pane goes anywhere near the regulator.
After that it is alignment. The glass has to run true in the channel or it will whistle at thirty miles an hour and let water past in a storm, so we set it, run it through its travel several times and adjust until it seals. Then the interior gets vacuumed, including the seat rails and the belt reels where cubes always end up. There is no adhesive anywhere in a standard door window, which means no cure time and no waiting around. For most vehicles the whole thing, pane and cleanup, is $200 to $450.
“I had my car broken into and needed a replacement window ASAP. Arsenial helped me out the same day. Thank you for the service when I needed it now. Very honest and ethical business, which is hard to come through these day. Very much would…”

The reason we push to get down here the same day is that a car with a missing window on these blocks is conspicuous. Streets off Clinton Avenue are packed and overlooked by a busy through road, so an obviously opened vehicle standing overnight tends to attract a second visit, and plastic sheeting advertises rather than conceals. Getting a solid pane back in is the only real fix. If you cannot be there when we arrive, leaving the keys with somebody works fine, since there is no paperwork to sign at the car. And if the windshield or a quarter pane went in the same incident, mention it, because one visit covers everything. One trip, one cleanup, and no second appointment to arrange later in the week.
Same service, same price, other Newark neighborhoods:
If the pane is one we stock, often the same day, and we keep room in the schedule because these calls arrive in clusters. Ring when we open at eight with the year, make, model and which window went, and you will get a real time rather than a vague promise. If the glass has to be ordered, the next working day is the usual answer and we say so upfront.
Where they are damaged, yes, and we will tell you when they are. Clips break with age and a seal that has been forced can stop sealing properly afterwards, which is how a whistle at speed begins. Those are small parts and small money, and we would far rather replace them at the time than have you back in a month with a wind noise you cannot place.
Tell us the vehicle and the glass that's damaged — you'll see your price instantly, and we'll hold it for you.
