Back glass, quarter panes, vent windows and sliding-door glass run $200 to $500 fitted. We handle a lot of work vans down here, and whether the vehicle comes up McCarter Highway to 23 Oraton Street or stays where it is parked, the pane is ordered against your exact year and model.

A working neighbourhood means working vehicles, and commercial glass is its own category. Panel vans have sliding-door windows, fixed rear panes and bulkhead glass that no passenger car carries. Box trucks have small side windows in odd sizes. None of it is stocked the way a common windshield is, so the first task is identifying the exact part, and for a van that often means the body code as well as the year and model. Once we have that, the order usually lands the next working day and we hold the slot so the vehicle is not standing idle longer than it must.
For passenger cars the pattern is different again. Cars park tight and empty toward Penn Station every morning, so back glass and quarter glass go overnight more often than anything on the doors. Both are usually bonded, which means urethane, a cure period and a proper cleanup rather than a five minute swap. We cut the old pane and adhesive out, prime the frame, set the new glass, reconnect the defroster grid where the rear screen carries one, and vacuum the cabin. The range for most of this work is $200 to $500, quoted against the actual part.
“I had my car broken into and needed a replacement window ASAP. Arsenial helped me out the same day. Thank you for the service when I needed it now. Very honest and ethical business, which is hard to come through these day. Very much would…”

Timing is what makes an Ironbound glass job different. A van that cannot be sealed is a van that cannot work, so we prioritise commercial vehicles where we can and try to fit the pane before the next morning rather than during it. The other constraint is the streets. Ferry Street and the blocks feeding it are no place to leave a vehicle standing through a cure with the hazards on, so for bonded glass we would generally rather have it at Oraton Street where it can sit properly. Where it genuinely cannot move, we work at the kerb, and you will get a straight answer about whether the spot is workable before a tech is sent down. Weather decides the rest, since bonded glass needs a dry frame.
Same service, same price, other Newark neighborhoods:
We do. Sliding-door windows, fixed side panes, rear door glass and bulkhead glass on panel vans are regular work here, and so are the smaller side windows on box trucks. What we need is the body code alongside the year and model, because van glass varies by wheelbase and roof height in a way passenger car glass does not. Send that when you ring and we can price it properly first time.
If the pane is one we hold, the same day. If it has to be ordered, usually the next working day, and we book the fitting slot at the same time as the part so nothing waits on a second phone call. Bonded glass then needs its cure before the vehicle is loaded and driven, and you get the real number for that rather than the one that suits the schedule.
