Mobile is priced identically to the shop: $250 to $450 for a windshield, $200 to $450 for side and rear glass, $60 to $150 for a chip, and no trip charge. Around the campuses that usually means working on the car in a permit lot or a deck while you are sitting in a lecture.

A car that stands through a three-hour block of teaching is a car we can do almost anything to. There is no ride to arrange, no waiting room and no lost afternoon, and a bonded windshield gets its full cure while you are somewhere else entirely. That is the strongest argument for mobile in this part of the city, and it is why most of the work we do around Rutgers, NJIT and Essex County College happens at the space rather than at Oraton Street.
The thing that stops it is almost never the glass. It is the entrance. University lots and decks often run barriers, permit-only access or a rule about service vehicles, and none of that is visible from a booking form, so we ask you to check beforehand and tell us what you find. Where a lot will not admit the van, the shop is ten to twelve minutes up Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, and the light rail at Warren Street or Norfolk Street brings you straight back to campus, which for a job with a cure period is a perfectly good outcome. Either way, the price and the warranty are identical.
“I had my car broken into and needed a replacement window ASAP. Arsenial helped me out the same day. Thank you for the service when I needed it now. Very honest and ethical business, which is hard to come through these day. Very much would…”

The blocks around the campuses are also a construction zone, and that has a practical effect on mobile work. Sites shift the available parking week to week, closed lanes appear without much notice, and fine grit hangs in the air near an active build, which is a genuine issue for a bonded pane that needs a clean surface. So the more specific you are about where the car is, the better this goes: the lot name, roughly where in it, and whether anything nearby is fenced off. If a site has taken over the spaces beside your car, tell us and we will find another way rather than sending a tech to a barrier. A photograph of the space, if you have one, settles it faster than a description.
Same service, same price, other Newark neighborhoods:
Yes. We need somebody who can give us access and the keys and who knows which glass is broken, and that does not have to be the registered owner. The invoice or the insurance claim gets settled afterwards rather than at the car. Just make sure whoever is there has your phone number, because if we find something unexpected we would rather ring you than decide it ourselves.
Sometimes. Many dynamic calibrations are completed on site once the glass is set, and where that is possible we finish it in the lot and hand the car back done. Other vehicles need a static calibration with controlled distances and lighting, and that has to happen at the shop. We check which one yours needs at booking, so nobody is told at the last minute.
Tell us the vehicle and the glass that's damaged — you'll see your price instantly, and we'll hold it for you.
